Shelton has actively shaped industry standards through involvement in regulatory committees, startup advisement, and maritime education initiatives. His leadership roles in organizations such as the Lone Star Harbor Safety Committee, Greater Houston Port Bureau Legislative Advocacy Committee, and numerous community and educational boards reflect his commitment to building a safer, smarter, and more resilient maritime sector.
