I can hardly contain my excitement! Two weeks ago, Cargill’s announcement about its trial of BAR Technologies’ sail application became a TicTok sensation! This past week, Apple released its YouTube video of CEO Tim Cook demonstrating to Mother Earth their efforts to decarbonize—including a 95% reduction in their emissions due to the utilization of ocean transportation over air!!! It went VIRAL!!!

Maybe shipping isn’t on global society’s radar screen, but Mother Earth now knows we are the most environmentally efficient mode of transport, and we are working to improve on that! Thank you, Apple!

Looking forward to seeing you in less than two weeks at SHIPPINGInsight 2023! While Tim Cook won’t be there, Mother Nature certainly will!!!
