SHIPPINGInsight CEO Featured Speaker at SMART4SEA Technology Conference

Carleen Lyden Walker, Chief Evolution Officer of SHIPPINGInsight, participated in the SMART4SEA Conference in Athens, Greece on January 30th.  In her presentation, Carleen addressed the need for the shipping industry to change the way it conducts business to be able to face its vulnerabilities and evolving challenges facing the industry.  She also highlighted several technologies that have the ability to improve the efficiency and mitigate the risks of shipping.  Carleen encourged the industry to embrace digitalization, automation, and blockchain and reduce the silos which exist within shipping companies and across the industry.
